SPRING (soccer ’25)
2025 Spring Soccer Rules
- All games (90 minutes) consist of the following:
- 10 minute warm-up period
- 2 x 35 minute halves with running time
- 5 minute halftime
- 5 minutes for stoppage time/transition to next game
- Number of players on field
- Small Futsal = 5 players (including goalie)
- Games are to be played 5v5
- Teams must have a minimum of 4 players to play. If a team has fewer than 4 players, then the game will be a forfeit. In this case, the other team will provide however many players are needed to the other team so they have a full side. The two teams will then have a scrimmage during the allotted gametime.
- Players NOT in the game sit up on the wall
- Big Turf Field = 7 or 9 players (including goalie)
- Coaches can mutually decide before the game whether they want to play 7v7 or 9v9
- If a team is scheduled to play on the Big Turf Field and they have FEWER than 7 players, they can ask the other team's coach to move the game to one of the small futsal fields. The other team's coach must agree. Otherwise, the game will remain on the Big Turf Field.
